| COMPOSITION |
D- Phenobarbitone Tablet: Each tablet contains Phenobarbitone 30mg.
|
| INDICATIONS |
All forms of epilepsy, convulsions. |
| DOSEAGE & ADMINISTRATION |
|
Adult: 15-30mg 2 or 3 times daily. Maximum 600mg in 24 hours. Child: Up to 1 year
15-30mg daily; 1-12 years 30-60mg daily.

| CONTRAINDICATIONS |
|
Patients with a history of alcohol or drug abuse, acute intermittent prophyria.
|
| SIDE-EFFECTS |
|
Drowsiness, lethargoy, ataxia and allergic skin reactions; paradoxical excitement, restless and confusion in the elderly and hyperkinesias in children, megaloblastic anaemia.
|
| PRECAUTIONS |
|
Liver disorder, renal impairment severe pulmonary in sufficiency, the elderly and debilited , pregnancy, lactation. Tolerance and dependence may develop.

|
Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
